iPad Apps for Kids: Math Heroes 1

Date:  Sep 8, 2013

I am going to recommend this game for your kids.

Before we go on, remember to read this blog entry on how to turn the "Guided Access" on your iPad, or iPhone.  Before you hand over your iPad or iPhone to your kids, always have the right to choose what they can and allow to play.  This "Guided Access" features is a neat feature to help you.  Just triple click on the home button and it is done.  But please remember your pass code.

This is actually a mental math game.

It is design in such a way that you race with time, and try to get all the math answers correctly.

They even have number bonds.  So, depends on the position, your kid need to quickly know whether he should use addition or subtraction to find the answers with two numbers given.

Now, when two numbers are missing, that is when it gets interesting.  This is actually found in my son's home exercise.

And it has all four operations.  Jay is learning multiplication & divisions now.  So, you can guess, I am going to let him play every day.  To strengthen the foundations.

You can download this on iPhone and iPad.

This are sort of the games I let my son play.  :)

If they want to play iPad, they will have to play the games I want them to play.  No choice.

iPad is a good teaching tool.  Use it wise.
